Which means I selectively filter the rest of the "noises" out of my life. In my case the pursuit of excellent is reading, running and writing.
Honestly I had not been reading much. Therefore by my definition I am not excellent. Unless you want to count me reading Dreams of Mirrors and my reference to Winning!!! as the input worthy to be called reading.
I also been wanting to keep up with my swimming which I had not been successful.
Then there is also the Emperor's Routine and cycling.
What I'm trying to say is, I had the model, now is to make it into reality.
Perfecting the do require patience. I am the living laboratory of Acta Non Verba. I need to perfect the daily routines in order to become the Athlete4Life.
I dread the coming of Ramadan. Definitely my sleep will be disrupted. There will not be tennis for one month. The best I can do is eat One Meal a Day (OMAD) and continue my 10 K Training.
Hey, have you tried the Super Seven?
Magnesium
Vitamin B Complex
3 Black Seed Oil
3 Fish Oil
MCT Oil
Salted Butter
Moringa
It sure makes a lot of difference in my mental clarity. Once my stock finishes, I will only consume Moringa and the salted butter. I wish I can continue with this concoction. However the cost is a bit too high for me.
I need to seriously save money. I can do away with magnesium and vitamin B complex but the oils are quite relevant in regulating my blood sugar.
This month my weight plateaued at 85 kg. So definitely I need to do something different next month. I intend to do OMAD LCHF all the way. The culprit is the carbs. That is the 80% of the issue. Exercise is only 20%.
To live life as an Athlete4Life requires discipline, persistence and consistency. I need to pair these 3 values against sleepiness, laziness, inertia and procrastination (SLIP). The book Fit2Fat2Fit is a good reference, Unfortunately Drew Manning's writing style is long winded. I want to get to the gist of it. Where's the beef?
Tomorrow I'll do something different. Instead of writing before I run, I just have coffee and then straight away run. That way I can start running at 7:15 am instead of 8:45 am like just now. Otherwise it gets too hot.
To build the momentum I need consistency. It's not rocket science.
OK baby enough ranting. I'm going out for dinner and then I will be reading Fit2Fat2Fit.
I love you honey.
