The word is RELENTLESS.  I got to be unyielding with the commitments I had set for myself.

It can be done.  Many had achieved it.  I got 100 days to make it happen.  I have to reach the point of utter dissatisfaction and I will not accept anything less.

I AM MAD AS HELL AND I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE.

I need to want it bad enough,  I must have the burning desire and I must take action to attain my goals.

As of now, it is to summit Mount 57.

Here are my moving away and moving towards values:

To lose 30 kg in 3 months


To run a 4 hours marathon in 2020

As you can see, these two values are the two sides of the same coin.  I become thin, I'll be fast.

Where is the RELENTLESS part comes in?  Well from now on I shall not compromise the 6 Winning Points for the next 100 days.

My leverage is to prove to Dr Amapreet that I can lose 30 kg by 2/7/19.  When I committed that to her I didn't know if I can achieve it but I committed anyway.

I need to make it to Mount 57.  The way to do it is to win every single day.  Every day must be a "green" day.  No more distractions.

To reach my goals I have to fight my inner demons,  I have to battle Sleepiness, Laziness, Inertia and Procrastination (SLIP).  Would you believe, to deal with SLIP I need to manage my food intake.

It's back to what we eat.  If we eat right half of the battle (sleepiness and laziness) will be won.  Inertia is the ailment of the body while procrastination is the illness of the mind.  Both are due to our natural inclination to increase pleasure and to avoid pain.

The trick is to overcome the short term pain with a long term pleasure.  The way to do it is by building momentum to offset inertia.  I also need bias for action to deal with procrastination.

We can talk much about these principles but in the final analysis, what counts is THE ABILITY TO ACT.

Which means I better get ready for my afternoon walk.
