9/4/19 A short note before lunch

Basically of all the bliss; eat, read, run, swim, write, sex and sleep; sex is the only one that requires interaction with another human being.  If I can do away with the human interaction part, I will be a self contained individual.

It's a tough decision but I'll give it a shot.  In another word, an Athlete4Life means living a life of isolation.  I don't know if I can handle that for the next 22 years but since I have Pornhub, things are not really that bad.

It all depends on the financial situation.  As of now, I simply cannot afford to have a tunnel vision on my financial matters.

Financial Mastery is about savings.  That is the first rule.  Before anything else, I must have the discipline to save.  That means  I have to refrain from spending unnecessarily.  If there is a cheaper option, go for that.

After all, I had spend on ALL that I need to look good, smell good and feel good.

Start by being sensible.  No more reckless spending.

I asked Azizi Ali (a Financial Guru) once, don't you have issues with women when you have a lot of money?

He replied, "No, because I love money more than I love women."

I should have the same attitude.  I should have money goal.  I should aim to save RM10 k in 5 years time.  Would you believe?  I never consciously save that much?

I mean, I had hundred of thousands in the bank before but I don't consciously set aside money to save up to RM10 k.  Well I'll do it this time.  I intend to have RM20 k as my inheritance to my children.

Saving is a matter of discipline.  My attempt to save this month didn't work.  I bought the ship.  I'll try again in May.

All these are temporary setbacks.  Much like quitting cigarettes, I will keep persisting until I succeed.  If I can quit cigarettes and dope, I can quit carnal desires and save money.

What I should be focusing is my 6 Winning Points.

Today's run makes me feel good.  I should spend more time thinking about being thin.  Then I look good and I am motivated to run more.

Time to reassess the situation:

  • Basically I should aim for self-sustenance
  • The focus is the 6 Winning Points
  • Keep the momentum going with the 10 k Training
  • Start to be healthy and happy
